Data Engineer
What you will do
In this vital role, you will improve the Model N SaaS Platform and the revenue management capability. If you have a genuine passion for Data engineering and thrive in a collaborative environment, we invite you to join us in revolutionizing our Revenue Management System.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize state-of-the-art data pipelines, including both batch and real-time processing.
- Design and implement data models optimized for performance.
- Design, construct, and maintain large-scale processing systems and data warehouse infrastructure.
- Ensure organized, secure, and accessible data within data lakes.
- Implement security measures adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines, databases, and queries for peak performance.
- Ensure data reliability and integrity through automated testing and CI/CD frameworks.
- Produce detailed documentation, including data architectures and flow diagrams.
- Lead Agile-driven data releases, participating in relevant Agile ceremonies.
- Stay updated with AI/ML and data engineering trends.
- Develop robust API solutions for seamless data integration.
- Collaborate for data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
What we expect of you
The professional we seek will have these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of data engineering experience OR Associate’s degree with 6 years of data engineering experience OR High school diploma / GED with 8 years of data engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with platforms like Model N, AWS, MuleSoft, Data Bricks, and Redshift.
- Understanding of the Pharma industry's revenue management and billing systems.
- Experience with tools that ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Relevant certifications in data engineering or related platforms/tools.
- Knowledge of governance principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in developing robust API solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
- Skills in crafting data solutions within cloud environments.
