Senior Software Engineer- Front-End

Flexjet is currently seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about innovation and web technologies to join our development team to focus on Front-end development. Flexjet empowers software engineers to learn, innovate, and apply their skills to deliver technical solutions. Our team has opportunities to work with varied departments for multiple brands across the private aviation industry.

Responsibilities

1. Directly responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting high performance and high availability web applications utilized throughout the business.
2. Analyze technical requirements to design new components and applications.
3. Manage new and existing products and applications throughout their lifecycle.
4. Advise and support colleagues where your expertise will facilitate the achievement of common goals.
5. Introduce new solutions to the product and to your colleagues when appropriate for the business needs.
6. Keep abreast of advancements in technologies and development techniques.
7. Interact with all departments and end users acting in development, technical design, and support roles.

Education & Experience

1. 5+ years as a software developer and proven experience at a senior level.
2. Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 2 additional years of equivalent work experience.
3. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), Relational and NOSQL databases, microservices architecture, and computer science foundations.
4. Experience working with Agile methodology.
5. Experience in development of front-end websites, cloud services, and Single Page Applications.
6. Must have a love for visual design and UX.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Ability to design, implement and support Web Applications with rich Front Ends in Angular.
2. Knowledge of Angular, React JS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and backend technologies (.Net Core, NodeJS) is desired.
3. Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software as necessary.
4. Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
5. Candidate should be self-motivated, independent, and exhibit relationship management skills.
6. Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices.
7. Exceptional attention to detail.
8. Well-developed interpersonal skills that promote and foster a team culture.
9. Candidate should drive towards team solutions instead of independent heroism.
10. Possess excellent organizational skills, and communication skills both written and verbal.
