About this position

SeeScan is seeking a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to oversee the success of our R&D Manufacturing Engineering and Sustaining Engineering teams. In this position, you will take on a leadership role to ensure the efficient operation of manufacturing processes, drive the continuous improvement of production systems, and optimize for ergonomic practices. At the same time, you will be an individual contributor to the wider team and help us solve complex engineering problems. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in engineering and engineering management, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and a passion for driving innovation and operational excellence.

In this position, you will

Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineering technicians and sustaining engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
Use your background in engineering to solve manufacturing engineering challenges
Oversee the development and execution of manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards
Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive projects from concept through to production
Act as a liaison between the Manufacturing and Sustaining Engineering departments and other teams including Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment on goals and objectives
Analyze existing manufacturing processes and implement changes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs

Your background

Seasoned engineer with proven experience in a leadership position within a manufacturing engineering team
Track record of creating and implementing solutions to engineering problems
Experience using an ERP system, Microsoft D365 a plus
Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams towards achieving organizational goals

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $170,000 annually.

Please note that this range represents a good faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization.
