As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer and leader in our Digital Battlespace Platform (DBP) on our team, you'll translate your customer's IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting cloud architecture designs and detailed technical approach artifacts that will be foundational to building next generation technologies for our clients. Through your leadership, we'll help transform the way the Army uses technology, including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems. You'll perform as the go-to person to lead technical meetings and to integrate requirements and releases with specific IT strategies, programs, initiatives, and investments. You'll advise organizational leadership on emerging cloud solutions and open system technologies and how to implement those and work alongside leadership to ensure IT and business planning are fully integrated on a continuous basis to increase business capability and value to our clients.

You Have:
- 3+ years of experience in technical research and development that enables continuing innovation within the systems infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience in product development, including direct control and responsibility over subordinate developers working the development of a web-based and data intensive system
- 3+ years of experience with the provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) in a DevSecOps or continuous delivery environment, using automated deployment and testing frameworks
- 3+ years of experience with commercial CSPs, including AWS or Microsoft Azure, containers, server-less architecture, micro-services, web services, and RESTful API design
- Experience with software engineering, including prototyping, building software solutions, developing and maintaining APIs, and building software releases
- Experience designing and automating the provisioning of cloud resources and IaC, including Platform as a Service (PaaS) technologies and Kubernetes
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics and 10+ years of experience designing and implementing information management systems, or 5+ years of experience designing and implementing information management systems in lieu of a degree
- IAT Level III Certification
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and command-line interfaces, including Bash, Gitlab yaml, and Microsoft Windows
- Experience with Gitlab and the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence
- Experience implementing DevSecOps pipelines and Agile development techniques and ceremonies
- Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, Routing, Load Balancing, and SSL
- Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and deliver to project deadlines
- Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
