The Electrical Engineering Manager is part of the Global R&D team and will play a crucial role in our mission to develop state-of-the-art medical devices. This role leads a team of skilled electrical engineers and collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality electrical systems and components. Their technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills will be instrumental in driving our company’s success and making a positive impact on healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, participating in technical reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
- Drive the design and development of electrical systems and components for medical devices, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Ensure electrical designs are optimized for performance, reliability, and safety.
- Manage multiple electrical engineering projects, setting clear objectives, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Work directly with external vendors to ensure timely delivery of designs and materials.
- Work directly with company’s contract manufacturing team to ensure appropriate manufacture of our medical devices.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and other teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into medical devices.
- Work with regulatory affairs and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in electrical engineering, with a focus on medical devices or other regulated industries.
- Working knowledge of quality management systems as they pertain to electrical products from a drawing and design perspective.
- Strong technical expertise in electrical system design, circuitry, and components.
- Experience in managing and leading engineering teams, with a track record of successful project execution.
- Familiarity with medical device regulations and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
