Responsibilities

We are hiring a Software Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD. This will be a hybrid role with the ability to work on-site 2 days and 3 days from home.

The role will include using a holistic approach to design, develop, evaluate, and modify end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Generate quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics. Ensure requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods.


What you'll do:

  1. Design, engineer, analyze, and develop software systems.
  2. Design, analyze, and develop software delivery processes (including DevOps pipelines).
  3. Model and analyze software development and deployment processes.
  4. Provide assistance to federal agencies in tailoring agile development and delivery techniques.
  5. Engage government leaders in defining the context, problem space, and vision to determine capabilities, priorities, road maps, transformation plans, and next steps.
  6. Develop agile processes, plans, and architectures to support software development, analysis, and operations.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  1. HS and 13 years of experience; 9 years of experience with a BS/BA in a STEM Field; 6 years with MS/MA.
  2. Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligible.
  3. 4 years of experience in DoD Systems Development.
  4. DOD 8570.01 IAT Level II.
  5. Experience with C, C#, C++, SQL, or Java.
  6. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and GIT.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
