HPC engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Candidates should have good domain knowledge in High-Performance Computing, script language (Shell, Python), Linux administration, operating systems (Linux, Windows), and computer networks.
2. Distributed file systems (Lustre/NFS), virtualization, and containerization related experience is a plus.
3. Configuration and maintenance of the HPC computer rack/hardware. Professionally resolve hardware issues.
4. Build, cable, configure, and provision Linux kernel and Windows server in the HPC Rack.
5. HPC Operating System Installation/provision - Windows Server, Linux, Unix.
6. Troubleshooting and resolving hardware problems on Linux cluster hardware and networking equipment, applying logical methods of resolution.
7. Preventive maintenance of cluster hardware.
8. Web Server and Database installation experience is a plus.
9. Must be willing to learn quickly, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
