Responsibilities:

• Work with shop supervisor for equipment inspection and repair assessments.
• On-site inspection and testing of customer's equipment.
• Serve as lead representative for installation and commissioning of repaired equipment.
• Vibration data collection and analysis utilizing latest technologies.
• Data collection and reporting utilizing infrared thermography and motor test equipment
• Perform laser alignments
• Field work performing on-site alignment and balancing functions
• Perform other duties as required

Skills Required:

• Must be certified as a Level I or higher Vibration Analyst with intent to continue to become Level II or higher.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on repair/rebuild experience with industrial rotating equipment
• Proven experience with precision rotating shaft alignments, field balancing and troubleshooting of rotating apparatus.
• Prepare detailed machinery condition assessment reports, review with customers and make recommendations for other preventative maintenance.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to complete required safety training classes and comply with OSHA, MSHA or any authority having jurisdiction.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be willing to work overtime or on call to satisfy customer requests
• Able to travel to other locations for temporary assignments, meetings, and training involving some overnight travel required.
• Highly motivated with interpersonal skills to effectively work in a collaborative team environment that includes shared responsibilities, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others, supporting team and company objectives, and a willingness to work in all areas required by the team.
