Job Description
Location: Lowell - MA - 900 Chelmsford St - 01851 (MA0148)
Duration: 7 months
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software and system specifications including high level and detailed level designs for assigned project.
- Excellent knowledge about software architecture, system issue and integration/testing. Extensive experience in writing JAVA based code for Management Systems (EMS/NMS) with expertise in Informix or Oracle Database and writing SQL queries.
- Good communication skills, project management skills and able to form good relationships with the teams to understand requirements and jointly work on architecture and specification issues.
- Innovative and free thinking, able to come up with new ideas and solutions to problems.
Skill Set Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of IT development expertise using JAVA, COBRA, Informix, SQL.
- Knowledge of Eclipse IDE, XML, REST, SOAP, JMS and MQ is required.
- Knowledge of PON, BPON, and GPON technologies and TL1, SNMP, MPLS protocols is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of IP Networks and expertise with SDN/NFV technologies is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies, JIRA, Stash, Git, Jenkins, Logstash and Selenium is preferred.
