About This Role

The Founding Senior Full Stack Engineer is a pivotal role aimed at building the OS in the credit collections industry. This position is designed for an engineer with a lean towards Backend development (70/30) , who is comfortable working across the entire tech stack.

The role involves collaborating with the CEO, CTO, and other engineers to develop full-stack features and improvements, refine the SDLC & CI/CD pipelines, and maintain the AWS infrastructure. This position is for those who are comfortable with autonomy, ownership , and have a strong work ethic , with a passion for delivering high-quality code and making sound UX decisions . The engineer will play a key role in creating a modern software platform that enhances the credit recovery process, helping Consumers, doctor's offices, and local governments.

The role requires 5+ years of Software Development experience , in-depth knowledge of Python, Django, JavaScript (React/Redux preferred) , and hands-on experience with AWS .

• Candidate must have done a payment integration before (e.g Stripe, Braintree, Paypal)
• Interested in working in an intense startup environment
• Someone who is comfortable with autonomy, ownership and responsibility
• Someone who cares more about getting it right, than being right. They love learning, asking questions and are comfortable asking for help when they get stuck
• Jack-of-all trades; Expert in one - Someone who can do anything from optimizing SQL query to writing maintainable CSS and everything in between, but they still have a preferred part of the stack and are comfortable with full-stack
• Early stage startup experience is preferred, not required

• Frontend - ReactJS, Redux, RTK Query
• Backend - Django, DRF, Postgres
• DevOps - Docker, Github Actions, Terraform, AWS

Responsibilities

• Work directly with our CEO, CTO, and a handful of other engineers to build full stack features and improvements to the product
• Work across the entire stack using cutting edge frameworks, tools, and own execution
• Take true ownership of your work and lead key components of our product roadmap
• Refine the SDLC & CI/CD pipelines
• Maintaining our AWS infrastructure

Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000 per year.
