Job Summary: Project Engineer
We are looking for a Project Engineer who has experience in machine design or a heavy industrial equipment environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct design calculations and analyses.
- Optimize designs for quality and manufacturability.
- Create and verify detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Manage project budgets and schedules, tracking tasks and scope.
- Present designs and machine functions to end users.
- Support sales proposals and collaborate with assembly and vendor teams.
- Author maintenance and troubleshooting manuals.
- Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle and lead new product releases.
- Establish design standards and review new components.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (experience can compensate for education)
- Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis and 2D/3D modeling software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
Essential Functions:
- Primarily office-based with some site visits; candidates should have the ability to walk, see, and hear (with or without corrective aid).
Equipment Used:
- Computer, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products
