As an SDM, you would enjoy a fast-paced environment where you can obsess over customers by creating scalable automation solutions to improve the overall quality of testing and partner team operational work.Key job responsibilitiesAs Software Development Manager you will build an engineering team responsible for delivering significant features, test framework, across this new automotive shopping initiative. You will work directly with product management to define requirements and apply your technical expertise and leadership skills to organize and guide your team to solve difficult software problems in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work with your team to create and execute technical goals, roadmaps and vision that deliver amazing customer experiences and inspire your engineers to build innovative, high-quality and operationally excellent software and systems. You will lead the technical planning, coordination, architecture, and implementation of multiple programs across our new automotive shopping initiative. In addition, providing support and guidance to all (SDE/SDET/QAEs) in building and extending automation coverage by developing test scripts and utilities that enable the testers and developers, and driving the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies.A day in the lifeAs Software Development Manager, you and your engineering team will work alongside Designers, SDE, SDET, Program Managers and Product Managers to create and execute on product and tech roadmaps. You will manage the lifecycle (architecture, design, implementation, documentation and measurement) of your team's software. The base pay for this position ranges from $166,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $287,700/year in our highest geographic market.
