Our SAP team is part of the global Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) organization. We build systems that support customer ordering, fulfillment and service of Apple products. We work with multiple Apple business functions including Retail, Operations, Finance and AppleCare. We need a self-directed and motivated team mate who has the skill to own and drive initiatives related to the SAP SD Order-To-Cash business processes.

Description

The successful candidate will work closely across regions with business and technical teams delivering sophisticated projects in Apple’s fast-paced environment. The role includes responsibility for all aspects of a project, including:

1. Supporting the business during requirements definition to document the detailed needs of each project.
2. Performing functional gap analysis and ensuring project scope is clearly defined.
3. Propose appropriate designs to meet the business requirements.
4. Collaborating on project plans, deliverables, dependencies and risks.
5. Writing technical specifications and coordinating with technical teams on the development.
6. Presenting the solution for design reviews and business playbacks.
7. Supporting technical teams in crafting and implementing performance tests.
8. Ensuring adequate test cycles are defined and implemented to support production launch.
9. Status reporting within the team and to management throughout the project lifecycle.
10. Coordinating cutover and implementation activities across teams.
11. Resolving production issues and running scope changes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience implementing and enhancing SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) functionality.
• Strong Order-To-Cash business process knowledge.
• Detail-oriented and able to deliver high quality SAP-based solutions within scope and timeline.
• Testing and debugging with SAP ABAP, Java or similar programming languages.
• Experience with SAP iDoc integration, SD user exits, Z tables, interfaces and output management.
• Knowledge of SAP enterprise structure, sales documents, deliveries, billing, pricing and customer communications.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years experience implementing and enhancing SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) functionality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience integrating SAP with e-Commerce and Point of Sale systems.
• Payments processing experience, including credit cards, loans, wire transfer and wallet payments.
• Project management experience working with global teams across time zones.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Ability to articulate sophisticated ideas to business stakeholders and IS&T teams in an easy-to-understand way.
• Experience with S/4 HANA, cloud technologies, UI5 or SAP BTP.
