Position Overview

Backend python developer for the AEROS Cloud enterprise product. AEROS Cloud is the cloud-based data collection and web service system used by LG Energy solutions to house and monitor data from their energy storage sites. This role will be part of a team that is responsible for writing server-side application logic to improve the existing systems and develop new systems based on requirements by the stakeholders. They will need to integrate internal and third-party services and APIs to enhance application functionality and data processing capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar major or equivalent on job training.
• 2+ years of experience developing in Python
• Development expertise in Python 3.x
• Development experience of RESTful APIs and/or full-stack applications using a Python web framework such as: Django, Flask, etc
• Experience integrating backend components with REST endpoints
• Experience with the automated build process (continuous integration) and source code version control tools (e.g., git/jenkins)
• Interest in working in an Agile environment
• Critical thinker with the ability to breakdown complex technical requirements
• Familiar with integrating with data sources such as Redis, MySQL, or similar
• Experience developing microservices for a containerized environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years job experience or equivalent training designing, deploying, and managing SQL databases
• Experience managing and automating deployments using AWS services.
• Experience with creating and executing operations policy and procedures required by regulations such as HIPAA, ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and experience with associated audits of policy.

*This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 2 days a week in the office
