Title : Civil Engineer
Location : Cartersville, GA
Duration : Permanent/ Direct Hire
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000+ (plus full benefits, bonuses/incentives)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- PE or EIT
- 4-5+ years of engineering experience
- 4+ years of design experience in AutoCad or Civil 3D
Nice to have:
- Experience with water, wastewater, &/or stormwater projects
- Project management experience
- Experience working in a consulting capacity with an engineering firm
Day-to-Day:
A client of Insight Global's is actively seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing office in Cartersville, GA. This individual will have the opportunity to handle projects from inception to completion, including obtaining approvals, facilitating the bidding process, aid and contributing to both conceptual planning and final design. They will also support the drafting/design and be the project manager over a variety of different projects. Most projects will focus on municipal water, stormwater, and sewer systems, encompassing tasks such as sewer rehabilitation, water main installations, stormwater system revisions, etc. Designs will be primarily be completed in AutoCad or Civil 3D, and could include sewer line designs, drainage systems, and piping layouts. This individual will coordinate production efforts by communicating both internally and externally with clients. The ideal candidate will either hold a PE license or be able to obtain their PE within 6 months.
