Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer

GN Hearing Care Corporation has an opening at its offices in Chicago, Illinois for the position of Software Engineer. The primary responsibilities include:

1. Make software applications by studying requirements, systems flow, data usage, and work processes following the software development lifecycle.
2. Develop software, perform unit testing, and assist the software testing team to test software changes.
3. Conduct cutting-edge IT research and identify innovative solutions to solve problems and drive new value streams.
4. Guide QA Lead to design appropriate test cases, validation procedures, and documentation.
5. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
6. Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences.
7. Consult with key customers and provide solutions to integrate customer software with fitting software.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field in technology plus at least four (4) years of experience as a Full-Stack software developer. This experience must include:

1. Working with Microsoft Azure;
2. Utilizing Microsoft Web Applications using C# and .Net;
3. Working with version control systems (TFVC and/or GIT);
4. Using Scrum/Agile development methodologies to manage multiple web products;
5. Working with Cloud Software Development;
6. Utilization of Microsoft Identity Platform.
