DevOps Engineer

Position: AWS DevOps Engineer

Location: Tampa, FL / New Castle, DE / Jersey City, NJ (Onsite)

Duration: FTE/ Direct Hire

Job Description:

• 8+ years of overall experience
• Designing and implementing highly available and scalable systems on AWS
• Creating and managing AWS resources such as EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, etc
• Hands-on knowledge of Lightspeed, Udeploy
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with serverless frameworks and event-driven architectures
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (AWS EKS)
• Developing and maintaining deployment pipelines using tools such as AWS Code Pipeline and AWS Code Deploy
• Implementing and managing monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to issues in real-time.
• Implementing and managing security best practices for AWS resources, including IAM policies, network security, and data encryption
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Collaborating with development teams to integrate their applications with AWS services
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Knowledge of CICD automation
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and Monitoring tools like Prometheus.
• Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer).
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies.
• Deploy application in Cloud
• Monitor Performance and usage
• Optimize application performance and improve resiliency
• Work closely with software developers to deploy applications into production
