Flexton Inc. seeks a dynamic Solution Architect with knowledge of Enterprise Architecture. This is an IC role with one of our prestigious clients in the retail domain. You will collaborate closely with leadership across business functions and engineering. Your primary goal will be to develop a robust enterprise architecture blueprint, evaluate new technologies, shape future-state architecture, and accelerate business outcomes. This role offers high visibility and a chance to impact our entrepreneurial environment significantly.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Flexton's role as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, defining and implementing solution architectures that drive business value, manage complexity, and accelerate harmonization of the IT estate.
• Apply deep Technology Strategy, Solution, & Enterprise Architecture experience to architect distinctive client technology solutions.
• Prepare proposals and estimates for the design and implementation of IT systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product heads, domain architects, and multiple stakeholders to ensure IT strategies align with business needs and goals. Act as the liaison between technical and business teams to ensure cohesive technology and process designs
• Work closely with other architects to build solutions for the problems identified by the stakeholders.
• Evaluating and recommending new technologies.
• Creating and enforcing IT standards and best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends and innovations, and leverage industry experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of software development experience with Java, Microservices Technology & Python.
• With over 5 years of experience in a technical lead role, specializing in designing and developing high-scale distributed systems.
• Retail Domain Experience: It is good to have a Retail Item Experience.
• Operational Excellence and focus on AI-driven solutions and automate the solutions.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to find gaps, recommend solutions, design the architecture of the solutions, and help build, develop, and implement the solutions.
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions for large-scale, distributed systems
• Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working in a dynamic team environment.
