JOB SUMMARY:
- Collaborate with various departments to maintain tooling registrars and convey proper tooling health and viability
- Develop and define procedures for Finishing best practices in collaboration with the Guaymas, Mexico facility
- Maintain and update part traceability items and ensure confidentiality of information
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage outsourced die mold, fixture, and/or gage builds
- Assist in estimating costs and lead times, compile tooling guidelines, and produce quotations to prime customers
- Maintain a complex tooling library with input from various stakeholders
- Coordinate Engineering meetings with Guaymas, Mx facility
- Work with Finishing department to establish and define best practices procedures
- Participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: BS in Engineering or related technical field
- Experience: 1+ years working in a Product Engineering role
- Other Applicable Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Read and interpret drawings (GD&T), excellent organizational and communication skills
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Indoor working environment within various areas of a foundry facility/Office environment
- Physical Demands: Sitting/standing, using a computer, ability to lift up to 20lbs
- Travel Requirements: Up to ~20%
