JOB SUMMARY:

• Collaborate with various departments to maintain tooling registrars and convey proper tooling health and viability
• Develop and define procedures for Finishing best practices in collaboration with the Guaymas, Mexico facility
• Maintain and update part traceability items and ensure confidentiality of information

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage outsourced die mold, fixture, and/or gage builds
• Assist in estimating costs and lead times, compile tooling guidelines, and produce quotations to prime customers
• Maintain a complex tooling library with input from various stakeholders
• Coordinate Engineering meetings with Guaymas, Mx facility
• Work with Finishing department to establish and define best practices procedures
• Participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BS in Engineering or related technical field
• Experience: 1+ years working in a Product Engineering role
• Other Applicable Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Read and interpret drawings (GD&T), excellent organizational and communication skills

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Indoor working environment within various areas of a foundry facility/Office environment
• Physical Demands: Sitting/standing, using a computer, ability to lift up to 20lbs
• Travel Requirements: Up to ~20%
