Professional Position Details: Summary of Duties: As the Web Coordinator, you will report to the College of Education Information Manager. You will perform a high degree of autonomy and independent decision-making to provide daily administration, development, training, and maintenance of the College of Education's web sites. This will include working with department chairs, staff, and faculty across the College. You will also act as the first line graphic designer for the College of Education, performing graphic arts or publication activities, to support academic and recruiting activities. As such, you will need to independently perform work assignments: design, develop and coordinate the production of a variety of graphic projects for research, publication, instructional use or media presentation. You will also work closely with the college's communication director to ensure the harmony in posting and branding the college in accordance with the Dean's vision. Required Qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree in information science or related field and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in web site design, development and maintenance. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. • 2 - 3 years of experience managing website and front-end development of a web page. • 2 - 3 years of graphical design experience. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience designing and maintaining WordPress websites. • Experience with using the Adobe suite of tools including Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, etc. • Experience working in a team environment. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates typically begin up to mid-point of the salary range.
