Sr. Cloud Architect – DBA

Location: Atlanta, GA – Day 1 Onsite

W2 Contract

Qualifications: -Database automation in AWS with RDS. Preferable: Oracle /Postgres

Responsibilities:

1. Creating and maintaining high performance, scalable, and stable database solutions.
2. Work with customer, deployment squads, and product management to identify and document use case scenarios.
3. Lead on all data solution aspects including setting data standards and providing your deep technical expertise to development teams for best practices, systems, and architectures.
4. Design databases solutions that are highly available and meet disaster recovery requirements.
5. Design effective data store solutions that account for effective capacity planning, data tiering, and data life-cycle management.
6. Design, develop and maintain automated systems for processes for AWS Cloud based products and services.
7. Troubleshoot issues with automations and ensure efficient solutions.
8. Collaborate with team members for effective and efficient automations.
9. Evaluate existing automation processes and identify areas of improvement.
10. Monitor and validate performance and functionality of the automated processes to ensure the objectives of automation are met.
11. Develop and maintain documentation for the automated processes and ensure knowledge transfer.
12. Mentor other team members on new technologies and automation processes.
13. Work with QA to create detailed test plans and needed tooling to account targeted performance for production volume data.
14. Ensure the successful delivery of solutions, training, and documentation, internally and with customers.
15. Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
16. Participate in code reviews and create documentation for engineering and cross-functional practices.
17. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end technical and business viability.
18. Learn new database technologies as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
