Job Summary of the Senior Architectural Designer position

Integr8staff seeks a skilled and seasoned Senior Architectural Designer with proven experience in the high-end luxury, hospitality industry.

Responsibilities of the Senior Architectural Designer position

1. Work collaboratively across multiple design projects end-to-end across luxury hospitality, commercial and high-end residential; own specific work streams end-to-end within each project.
2. Develop drawing and specification packages, and produce accurate documentation as needed in schematic design, design development, construction documentation phases.
3. Coordinate with FF&E and various design teams to produce plans, elevations, and details in order to ensure design intent is incorporated into documentation packages.
4. Assist with material selection, produce specifications, and review contractor submittals for conformance to design intent.
5. Assist with the development of office documentation standards and practices.
6. Participate in project coordination, construction administration, site visits, and maintain quality control during construction as needed.
7. Collaborate seamlessly with clients, as well as other designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects.

Requirements of the Senior Architectural Designer position

1. 6+ years relevant experience with Interior Design/Architecture education and background.
2. Strong project management skills with ability to multitask, all from design inception to completion in all design phases.
3. Refined production skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, and/or Revit.
4. Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environment.
5. Experience in construction administration a plus.
