Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Mid-level Software Developer (.NET) to be a part of CFTC Data Engineering and Architecture team. This position is Hybrid, required to work onsite some days, must be within the DC, MD, VA area.
What you will do:
- Design and develop cloud-native solutions.
- Develop Databases, Data Warehouses and the ETL applications and infrastructure necessary to populate them.
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning services in development, test and production environments.
- Maintain document and diagram cloud solutions, gathering requirements to support the platform and systems.
- Extend, bug fix and maintain code to meet user requirements/issues.
- Maintain Stored-procedures, Views, and SSIS packages to address users' requests and concerns.
- Do root-cause analysis for users' questions/concerns.
- Communicate with business user groups and stakeholders to understand requirements, present work and troubleshoot.
- Critical thinker with ability to connect the dots of technical work to big picture plan.
Qualifications
Required Qualification:
- 5 years with BS/BA. Additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Software Development.
- Experience with C# and .Net.
- Experience with SQL Server.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience communicating with business users and stakeholders.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to connect the dots of technical work to big picture plan.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance (Public Trust).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Federal or Government contracting and consulting experience is a plus.
- AWS Cloud Certifications.
- Experience with Postgresql databases.
- Experience with Sql Server Integration Services.

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
