Cloud Engineering Software Developer - Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineering

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Cloud Engineering Software Developer to join our Dedicated Cloud Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building automated platforms and solutions to streamline the AWS build and deployment process in dedicated regions. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and operating services for Amazon, enabling ticket notifications and building platforms to reduce toil and operational inconsistency. Key Responsibilities:

• Own new feature development and system components
• Build and improve systems to help customers do the right thing faster and safer
• Perform oncall duty as the first line of defense against system problems

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
• Experience programming with at least one software language
• 2+ years of experience working with Linux/Unix systems
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of of Top Secret or above

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience building production-level services with AWS infrastructure
