Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Azure DBA / Azure Data Factory Developer to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Azure SQL databases and designing and developing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Azure SQL Database administration, data integration, and ETL processes.
Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, and maintain Azure SQL databases.
· Perform database administration tasks, including monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning.
· Implement and manage data security and compliance measures within Azure SQL.
· Develop and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.
· Create and manage data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
· Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
· Optimize database and data pipeline performance through monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
· Ensure data quality and integrity across databases and data pipelines.
· Document database designs, data flows, and processes.
· Stay current with Azure services and technologies related to databases and data integration.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proven experience as a Senior Azure DBA or Azure Data Factory Developer.
· In-depth knowledge of Azure SQL Database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
· Hands-on experience designing and developing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
· Strong SQL programming skills and experience with T-SQL.
· Experience with data modeling and schema design.
· Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and techniques.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
