The Safety & Security Department of the MTA IT is seeking the service of Database Administrator / Analyst "Counter" consultant. The Analyst/Counter consultant position is requested to provide a manual review and analysis of camera/electronic data portraying Quality of Life (QOL) issues such as fare evasion and vandalism for the purpose of: analyzing changes/improvements due to security policies per the instruction of the Director, Data Information and analysis, department of Safety and Security.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Observe sources of electronic data for usable information
• Input data from available sources into relevant fields
• Code data
• Transform data into actionable information
• Maintain records as requested by Director Data Information and Analysis.
• Analyze data to identify trends
• Develop visual representations of quantitative and qualitative data.
• Ensures company complies with applicable laws and regulations regarding data security and document management.
• Liaise with IT systems experts
Skills and Information: • At least 2-5 years' experience Microsoft Office Suite Basics
• Experience in observing and analyzing large amounts of data
• Creating reports of data trends
• Using digital formats
• Ability to write and/or transfer data
• Creating/Using MS Forms to capture data
• Experience in using Java, Angular, HTML, Power BI, PowerApps considered a plus.
• Experience in SharePoint
