Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Position Overview: LHH Recruitment Solutions is excited to partner with a renowned global manufacturer specializing in high-precision machine tools to find a skilled Field Service Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work from home while traveling approximately 50% or more within a multi-state region. As the company is experiencing significant growth, this role is newly created to support expanding service needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance on CNC machine tools.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
- Service and repair CNC machines, focusing on DMG or Mori Seiki brands, Siemens controls, and other related systems.
- Interact effectively with customers at all organizational levels in person and over the phone.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with the central support team and provide updates on service activities.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
- Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
- Experience with CNC DMG or Mori Seiki machines is preferred; familiarity with Siemens controls is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and customers.
- Flexibility to start earlier if required, as most customers operate 24/7.
