Communications Network Engineer

OPS Consulting is seeking an experienced Communications Network Engineer to work in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Required Experience:

• Assist customers with resolving problems to include performance and configuration.
• Provide support in the translation of business requirements into telecommunications (Ex. LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice and Video) requirements, design, and orders.
• Provide in- depth engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives.
• Provide interface support to telecommunication end users, operations personnel, and strategic program management.
• Provide enhanced telecommunication design for medium to large- scale infrastructures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Six (6) years of IT experience or an additional four (4) years with an Associate's degree.

Security Clearance:

• A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
