Role Description

We're looking for a talented Computer Systems Engineer who is excited to take on a diverse range of projects, from troubleshooting and system optimization to cutting-edge professional services deployments. In this full-time hybrid role, you'll be a critical player in ensuring that our clients' infrastructures run seamlessly while having the chance to work on exciting projects that push the boundaries of technology.
This role offers you the opportunity to act as a Tier 3 escalation engineer, handling the most complex technical issues, while also engaging in professional services deployments that will expand your expertise. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Tier 3 escalation engineer, leveraging your expertise to solve complex technical challenges
- Engineer and optimize system infrastructures for high performance, reliability, and security
- Implement and manage cutting-edge virtualization and cloud solutions, utilizing Hyper-V, VMware, Azure, and AWS
- Design and maintain network security solutions, leveraging technologies such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco to ensure robust protection for client data
- Collaborate on diverse professional services deployments, offering your expertise on challenging and innovative projects
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, sharing your insights and ideas to elevate our solutions
- Work closely with a talented team that values knowledge-sharing, problem-solving, and creative solutions
Qualifications
- Proven experience in System Administration, Troubleshooting, and Systems Engineering
- Strong expertise in Network Security and Information Technology, with hands-on experience in Hyper-V Failover Clusters, VMware Clusters, and SAN solutions
- Deep understanding of Azure and AWS Cloud environments, capable of architecting and managing solutions within these platforms
- Solid grasp of the OSI model, with experience configuring firewalls, switches, and VLANs
- Hands-on experience with network security technologies, such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco
- A proactive, curious mindset with a genuine passion for technology and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills - you enjoy sharing your knowledge and learning from others
- Preferred: Relevant work experience in the areas mentioned; a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is not required, but demonstrated experience in these areas is highly valued
