Full Stack Engineer

We are currently partnered with an innovative tech start-up that is looking for a Full Stack Developer that specializes in PHP/Laravel or React/Next.js.

This is a full-time and fully on-site position in Downtown Chicago. Candidates must be on-site 5 days per week and comfortable with a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Developer to join our growing team on-site in our Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, possess a proven track record of working in an agency setting, and demonstrate the ability to make informed decisions quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Take ownership of projects and make critical decisions when necessary.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years as a Full-Stack Developer
• Front End Proficiency: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frameworks (React, Next.js)
• Back End Proficiency: PHP (Laravel), Go, and Node.js
• Experience with relational database (MySQL)
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS)
• Experience working in an agency environment or similar fast-paced setting

Preferred:

• iOS/Android Mobile Development
• Desktop Development (MacOS, Windows)
• Experience working with video content creators
