Our travel and hospitality client is seeking a Motion Designer (Social) to join their team. This is a contract engagement with full-time hours. The candidate will join an internal creative studio, building assets across social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Create visually stunning motion graphics and animations that align with brand vision and messaging
- Collaborate closely with the creative team, including designers, copywriters and producers, to develop and execute engaging visual concepts
- Design and animate assets for various platforms, including social media, websites, advertisements and presentations
- Bring concepts to life through storytelling and effective use of animation techniques, ensuring a seamless and compelling user experience
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating new techniques and technologies into your work
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work
- Take ownership of projects from concept to completion, ensuring consistency and excellence in design
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience designing motion assets for social media
- Proven experience as a Motion Designer, showcasing a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates creativity, technical skills and ability to tell stories through motion graphics
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. Knowledge of Cinema 4D or other 3D animation software is a plus
- Solid understanding of design principles, animation principles and typography
- Strong visual storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to create visually compelling narratives
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate ideas
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A passion for innovation, creativity and pushing boundaries to deliver outstanding visual experiences
