Data Engineer

About Us: As a SR Data Engineer at Kenility, you’ll join a tight-knit family of creative developers, engineers, and designers, who strive to develop and deliver the highest quality products into the market.

Technical Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
2. Develop and maintain data engineering solutions using Python and Scala, leveraging substantial experience in these programming languages.
3. Manage and optimize both SQL and NoSQL databases, and create data visualizations using tools like PowerBI and Tableau.
4. Utilize AWS or similar cloud platforms, including services like S3, EMR, and Lambda, to implement and manage cloud-based solutions.
5. Apply infrastructure as code principles and Agile methodologies, including using tools like Jira, to streamline project workflows.
6. Design data pipelines, model databases for analytics, monitor cloud software, and implement API/web scraping techniques.
7. Provide support to Tableau and PowerBI users, as well as collaborate with Analytics and Data Science teams to meet their needs.
8. Exhibit strong communication and time management skills, with a proactive, self-driven, and team-oriented approach.
