Role: Senior Android Mobile Application Developer/Analyst

Being involved in all stages of application development, support, and maintenance.

Core Requirements

1. 8+ yrs of experience in developing Native Android applications in Java or Kotlin
2. 3+ yrs of experience in Kotlin
3. 2+ yrs of strong experience in Android Jetpack
4. Proficient in Java
5. Experience in app deployment process on Play Store
6. 1+ yrs Experience in Airline Domain
7. Extensive exposure to Android SDK and ecosystem
8. Good knowledge of Gradle and its capabilities
9. Can identify memory leaks and knows how to resolve them
10. Good memory management abilities
11. Good version control practices
12. Proven ability to work with legacy code base
13. Proven ability to work with MVVM
14. Proven ability to write testable code and compose good unit tests for it
15. Proven ability to add accessibility to an app
16. Experience in Dagger, RxJava, ViewBinding, DataBinding, Retrofit, Gson, Room, LiveData, Navigation Components
17. Experience with Coroutines, Flow, Android-ktx, Extension methods, Named parameters
18. Able to convert legacy Java code into Kotlin
19. Able to debug App for performance issues/boost using profiler
20. Experience of working with a team across multiple time zones. Ability to assess dependencies ahead of time zone crossovers
