Position Overview:

Supports Mitsubishi HC Capital America, Inc.’s (MHCA) analytics & corporate applications need across the enterprise.

The incumbent must understand, abide, and uphold the system of internal controls related to the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Analytics Responsibilities:

Play a key role in integrating multiple back-ends to a single source. Manage third party resources (vendors) to deliver on agreements per SOW.


Write SQL to create files for data loads to support the backend integration efforts.

  1. Perform data analysis in support of new projects and changes to existing features/reports.
  2. Provides end-user support and training around InfoLease and reporting as needed.
  3. Monitor IL for performance and data quality, troubleshooting inconsistencies.


Corporate Applications Responsibilities:

  1. Run and build responsibilities for MHCA’s corporate applications, primarily InfoLease.
  2. Follows all development policies and guidelines when coding fixes and enhancements, as well as when fixes and enhancements are migrated to a production environment.
  3. Responds to IT Audit requests, as required.
  4. Assist on other IT projects and tasks as assigned.

KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators):

  1. Complete assigned projects on time and on budget.
  2. Eliminate manual processes leveraging software features where appropriate.

Responsibility and Decision-Making Authority:

Act independently; Decision-making within Company policy.

Management/Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 8-year experience with SQL development, relational database experience.
  2. Minimum 5 years and exposure to BI tools such as PowerBI (Preferred), SSRS (Preferred), Tableau, Business Objects, QlikView or similar products.
  3. Exposure to ETL tools, specifically SSIS.
  4. Experience in commercial leasing, and/or other financial application systems.

Skills Required:

  1. Solid understanding of RDBMS, preferably MS SQL Server.
  2. Strong SQL/T-SQL skills.
  3. Experience with SSIS / SSRS.
  4. Experience with MS Access.
  5. Experience with market-leading BI tools.

Desired Skills:

  1. Experience with Asset Financing platforms such as InfoLease or Lease Wave.
  2. Experience with BOARD BI tools.
  3. Exposure to webservices.
  4. IIS7, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  5. Experience creating/maintaining SharePoint sites.

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  2. 3 - 5 years related program development and support experience with comparable financial or leasing institution.

Tools and Equipment Used:

  1. Personal computer, copier, phone, and other typical office equipment.

Working Hours:

  1. Hours may vary, and overtime will be required depending on business needs.
  2. Evening and weekend work are occasionally required for system upgrades and special projects.

Travel:

  1. Occasional travel related to training, seminars, or business meetings.

Physical Demands:

  1. Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment.
  2. Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
  3. Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person.
  4. Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another.

Salary Range: ($138,000 to $151,600) per year, plus a discretionary bonus.

The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, and education.
