Software Engineer (C++)

Seeking a Software Engineer to support the development and deployment of a complete sonar suite on board various U.S. Navy submarines. This position requires an independent individual capable of self-directed issue resolution. Experience with large project and/or DoD programs preferred, but not required. The work will be performed at our customer site in Manassas, VA with occasional travel to our headquarters in Fairfax, VA.

Duties:

• Design and development
• Object-oriented design
• Implementation of interface software
• Implementation of display applications
• LINUX/UNIX development
• Development in C++
• Development for real-time systems

Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain DoD secret clearance
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related disciplines
• Experience in C++ or Java development practices
• Proficient in Unix operating system
