Introduction
Vaco is seeking a dedicated Account Manager (Inside Sales Representative) for our esteemed client in Norcross, GA. With over 30 years of stability and recent growth due to industry expansion, this company is looking to enhance its inside sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience as an electrical or lab technician, coupled with a genuine interest in electrical components such as PCBs, capacitors, and electronic circuits.
This is an onsite position with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM (or similar), and we will only consider local candidates. The targeted compensation ranges from $55,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience. Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure an organized work environment.
- Provide support to the sales team, assisting both inside and outside sales efforts.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to address customer needs, requests, and issues promptly.
- Participate in training sessions with seasoned sales representatives to learn strategies for developing new business and fostering professional relationships.
- Focus exclusively on inside sales; this role does not involve cold calling or travel. Responsibilities center on servicing new and existing customer accounts.
Qualifications
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience in an electrical or mechanical lab technician role is required.
- Prior customer service experience is essential; inside sales experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
- A willingness to continuously learn about electrical components and the industry is expected.
- Demonstrated success and high performance in previous work, academic, or extracurricular activities.
- Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents with a valid driver’s license.
