JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field plus 1-3 years of software engineering experience.
- Solid understanding of design patterns and data structures.
- Experience with a mixture of programming languages.
- Experience with continuous integration and/or deployment tools such as GitLab, Artifactory, and Conan.
- Must demonstrate a technical knowledge in software development including applicable engineering principles, concepts, theory, and practices.
- Must be comfortable working independently on projects while maintaining communication with colleagues.
- A background in Mechanical Engineering, Vibration or Acoustics would be a plus.
JOB DUTIES
Responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing software applications in the field of vibro-acoustics for ESI’s global market.
- Create robust, modularized software code that can easily be reused and updated.
- Write high-performance C++17 and newer code that solves real-world engineering problems.
- Leverage popular and powerful open-source libraries like Boost, Embree, Eigen, pybind11, and numpy.
- Work on a small team with flexible roles.
- Help migrate MFC-based application to modern user-interface code (e.g., Qt, Electron).
- Test your code in a continuous integration environment.
PAY RANGE
$112,500 to $117,000
