As NASA’s largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States.We have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Design Engineer - xEVAS Space Exploration Electronic Systems to join the team with the Engineering Division.As an Electronics Design Engineer - xEVAS Space Exploration Electronic Systems, you will:Report directly to the Electronics and Electrical Section Manager as part of a group of over 43 other Electronics and Electrical EngineersWork directly with or as a Team Lead and associated Electrical Engineers on a given projectSupport new designs from conception, analysis, and manufacturing, through to operational test and deploymentProvide design support and guidance in various aspects of Electronics System DevelopmentBe familiar with NASA specifications for Electronics Component developmentDevelop component test stand architectures for various componentsDesign and generate electrical component and lab instrumentation test system designsDevelop and or modify LabVIEW code for various test systemsDevelop detailed test verification proceduresWork with electrical and mechanical technicians to build and test designed systemsDevelop and test various breakout boxes and digital/analog sensor emulation systemsPerform electrical evaluation/selection of instrumentation (pressure transducers, flow meters, pumps, fans, RTDs, Thermocouples, etc.).Troubleshoot and repair existing test systemsConduct analog and digital printed circuit board design for various application needsDevelop test software modules to perform specific testsWork with eCAD designer to develop printed circuit board designsWork in a laboratory environment, following standard operating proceduresPerform other duties as required and assignedRequisition Qualifications:This position has been posted at multiple levels.
