Duration: 4 Months

Job Type: Contract

Work Type: Hybrid

Shift: (Mon-Fri) (9.00 AM-6.00 PM)

Pay Rate: $33-45.00/ Hourly/ W2

Job Description:


Responsibilities:

  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong and effective communicator, both verbally and written, with ability to interface with various departments of the company, as well as outside vendors and contractors.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members and able to retrieve data for presentation preparation purposes
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to orchestrate and execute multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment using resources effectively and efficiently
  • Able to represent the company at all times with high moral and ethical conduct
  • Proven ability to work independently with little to no direction and maintain a strong focus on business priorities and be persistent in follow-through
  • Develop project timelines and manage project deliverables
  • Ability to adapt and implement new software into existing workflows
  • Review security assessments, record findings in reporting system, report out to the team on findings and raise awareness of critical issues
  • Coordinate and schedule security engagements with 3rd party vendors by following a defined assessment process
  • Regularly create reports on all aspects of 3rd Party Assessment Program using Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ensure vendor data is current and free of discrepancies
  • Coordinate with internal security teams to develop remediation plans for each vendor based on assessment findings
  • Coordinate and schedule remediation follow-up with 3rd party vendors

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years’ experience in technology space, with demonstrated experience in security arenas

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

Desired Characteristics:

  • The MPAA’s Content Security Program including Management Systems, Physical Security, Digital Security, Cloud & Application Security
  • Intrusion detection and prevention software, and definition vs AI/machine learning based technologies
  • Encryption technologies, both file-based and filesystem-based encryption at-rest and in-motion
  • Multi-factor authentication and password complexity
  • Vulnerability scanning technologies
  • Penetration testing
  • Network architecture including firewalls, VLANs, subnets, IP routing, etc.
  • Authoritative security sources such as ISO, NIST
  • Secure file transfer technologies and methods, such as Signiant, Aspera, Hightail, WeTransfer, Wiredrive
  • Media streaming technologies and platforms
  • Digital Rights Management (DRM) technologies such as: Widevine, PlayReady, Primetime, Fairplay
  • Media sharing & media storage: Dropbox, Box, NAS, SAN
  • Microsoft Office tools; Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio
  • Work management platforms such as Smartsheet, Slack
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Business intelligence tools such as Tableau
  • Content protection technologies such as visible/invisible/forensic watermarking and detection. Single and multi-key watermarks and session-based watermarks
  • Trusted Partner Network (TPN) initiative with MPAA/CDSA and the Studios
