We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a direct hire position in Akron, OH. The role offers a competitive base salary ranging starting from $95K, commensurate with experience in areas such as piping flexibility studies, process equipment specifications, pumps, and pressure vessels.Responsibilities:Design and engineer mechanical equipment, including pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and material handling systems.Conduct pipe stress analysis and design pipe supports.Serve as Lead Engineer on projects, coordinating with other engineering disciplines and clients.Perform occasional field work as required.Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum of ten years of relevant experience.Proficiency in piping flexibility studies and process equipment specifications, with familiarity in Caesar II software.Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.Willingness to undergo background checks, including employment history, criminal records, and education verification.Must pass a post-offer drug test.Possession of a valid driver’s license.Flexibility for domestic overnight travel as needed.Preferred:Professional Engineer (PE) license.If interested and qualified, please apply with Joe St. Louis at
