DescriptionLeidos is hiring a Modeling and Simulation Engineer with eligibility for a TS/SCI clearance to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.Our M&S Engineer will leverage their experience to develop simulations to support intelligence analysis modeling and simulation (M&S) Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) objectives.The engineer will work to design, develop, test, and document simulations related to PNT.All work is in Dayton, OH.Primary Responsibilities:Develop PNT simulations incorporating GNSS models.Incorporate new algorithms into the simulation as required.Analyze simulation results to determine effectiveness in meeting objectives.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's in EE, AE, CS or related field and 4+ years of experience in M&S in a related field or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in M&S in a related field.Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for a TS/SCI.3+ yrs C++ experience.2+ yrs Python experience.Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to work individually and with teams.Preferred Qualifications:Active TS/SCI security clearance.MATLAB/Simulink Experience.Experience with / understanding of GNSS receiver algorithms.Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (CRPA) experience or knowledge.Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), VHSIC Hardware Description Language (VHDL), and Verilog experience.Original Posting Date:2024-10-07While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
