Position Role/Title: Software Build and Release Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA.

Description

• Experience in a cloud focused environment with at least 5+ yrs. experience responsible for build/management of a DevOps service
• Proficiency in at least 2 major scripting languages (shell, python, PHP, Perl, Ruby).
• Experience with GRADLE, Java, Nexus, DTR, Jira
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM
• Strong technical strengths in most of the following areas:
• AWS major services - must have
• Linux
• Scripting
• Orchestration
• Kubernetes
• Docker
• Experience with the following technologies is a plus:
• Windows
• Git
• Atlassian
• Kotlin
• Jenkins
• Can do attitude and strong customer service and track record on delivering quality results
• Ability to provide reliable technical support and guidance on complex issues in a high velocity, dynamic environment
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to internal customers and upper management
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
