Supply Chain Engineer

Job Description

Position Summary: This position will be responsible for managing and implementing processes to communicate data to make decisions about the business. Manage a data warehouse and create meaningful dashboards for access to the pertinent data and analyzing data to advise actions to be taken by all departments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Align customer demand with inventory and planned orders to optimize the service level to the market.
• Optimizing Lead Times & Safety Stock Levels
• Forecasting to the Suppliers
• Manages S&OP process and analytics that drive the S&P processes.
• Review MRP settings in QAD to maximize the MRP runs.
• Review and document Supply Chain processes.
• Analyze and make recommendations for inventory levels by SKU to match historical sales and forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels and report anomalies that would prevent excess inventory or customer stock outs.
• Analyze inventory mix based upon market trends.
• Create customer profiles using Vehicles In Operation Data.
• Working with the IT department establish a data warehouse with Dashboards for access to relevant data to be used by all departments.
• Work with the IT department to upgrade the QAD MRP system to the new version of QAD.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, IT Data Analytics or Business preferred
• Experience with data analytics, database structures, data mining preferred.
• ERP/MRP experience preferred.
• Advanced skill level in MS Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Databases (MS Access, SQL)
• Excellent Analytical Skills
