Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry to support our manufacturing and production processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automated systems in a GMP-regulated environment. This role requires expertise in automation technologies such as PLC , SCADA , and DCS systems to ensure the reliability and efficiency of pharmaceutical production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement automation systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS) for manufacturing processes, including equipment integration and software programming.
• Maintain and optimize automated processes for equipment such as reactors, bioreactors, CIP/SIP systems, filling, and packaging lines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated systems to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality, to support the implementation of automation solutions.
• Develop, execute, and document automation validation protocols and ensure compliance with GMP , FDA , and EMA regulations.
• Monitor and maintain control systems, performing routine updates, and ensuring documentation is kept current.
• Participate in the design, installation, and commissioning of new automated equipment and systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities that enhance process efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure cybersecurity measures and data integrity are upheld in all automated systems.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing and maintenance teams on automated systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with PLC , SCADA , DCS systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, DeltaV, etc.).
