In this development program, you will have countless opportunities to solve real-world manufacturing issues and implement your ideas while being mentored by other successful James Hardie team members.

2-Year Development Program Structure:
First year:
Rotational training: You are placed at one of our 11 US Manufacturing Plants and will receive hands-on manufacturing training through the entire fiber-cement manufacturing process in addition to development of key professional skills.
Projects: select and complete strategic projects using the skills acquired during your first year.
Second year:
After successful completion of your first year, you will be assigned to a specific role across one of our 11 U.S. plants (Waxahachie, TX; Cleburne, TX; Fontana, CA; Reno, NV; Tacoma, WA (2); Peru, IL; Pulaski, VA; Prattville, AL; Plant City, FL; Westfield, MA) or at our corporate office (Chicago, IL).

Education/Expectations Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Paper Science, Polymer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering.
- Able to relocate to one of our 11 U.S. Manufacturing plants.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Demonstrated work ethic through past co-op or internship, preferred.
