Job Requirements / Description

DUTIES:· Evaluate manufacturing processes and propose improvements driving cost reduction· Design and develop necessary tooling and fixturing to support production· Conceptualize, design and deliver manufacturing solutions that meet or exceed the program requirements.· Provide technical inputs for incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action.· Support the launch process of new or reintroduced parts to production.· Assist training production operators and documenting processes related to equipment usage.· Attend program, design review, and group meetings and actively participate in discussionsQUALIFICATIONS:· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering· 5-10 years of process or manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment· Required technical knowledge includes product, tooling, and fixture design, working knowledge of material selection including metals and non-metals· Understanding of component manufacturing techniques, such as transfer and injection molding, machining, etc. Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD (required) and Solidworks (desired)· Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience a plusAbout ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
