Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developer

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developer IV to join our team in the DMV area . Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Leads the designing, developing, documenting, testing, debugging, and maintenance of hardware- or software-based CNO capabilities.
2. Possess an in-depth understanding of cutting-edge technologies and applies their expertise to create innovative solutions.
3. Ensure effective communication coordination and transparency with leadership and customers.
4. Serve as a trusted advisor in providing technical guidance and recommendations to support strategic decision making processes.
5. Responsible for ensuring software standards meet network and security requirements.
6. SME level position expected to supervise and mentor junior teammates, work collaboratively with other CNO Developers, and take direction from more senior personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in an IT-related discipline.
2. Seven or more (7+) years of related experience.
3. Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming.
4. Proficiency in low-level internals in one or more technology areas (e.g., Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices).
5. Proficiency with networking (TCP/IP) and socket level programming.
6. If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required.
7. If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. CNO capability development experience.
2. Software Analysis/Reverse Engineering experience.
3. Understanding of assembly programming concepts.
4. Experience using Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible).
5. Relevant industry standard certifications such as Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer (PCEP) or C++ Certified Professional Programmer Certification (CPP).
6. Experience with CI/CD pipeline/DevSecOps development.

Clearance Requirements:

Must have current/active TS/SCI security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
2. Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
3. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
4. The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
5. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
