Description

As a member and technical leader in the Patient, Participant and Provider organization, you will provide hands-on software design, development and technical leadership across a range of products and user personas to support the advancement of precision health by closing the gap between research and care.

Responsibilities

  1. Design systems and write code, providing technical leadership to a large team.
  2. Create and implement a technical strategy to enable the products to scale to a larger team.
  3. Cultivate innovation by owning product areas and advocating for forward-looking technical strategies which support multiple businesses.
  4. Lead and review designs of major software components, systems, and features.
  5. Lead, mentor and grow the community of team / technical leads in your area.
  6. Identify and implement software development processes that enable your team to continuously improve design, implementation, test, deployment, and maintenance.
  7. Work closely with privacy, security and quality reviewers to ensure compliance.
  8. Independently manage your individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
  9. Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field.
  2. Hands on experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  3. Demonstrated authority and mastery of a technical domain.
  4. 10+ years of relevant work experience in software development.
  5. Experience delivering software using a general purpose programming language (e.g., C/C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, Go, Objective-C, and/or Swift).

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience architecting and developing mobile clients, web clients and distributed systems.
  2. Clear written communication, especially in design and architecture documents.
  3. Experience working directly with end customers, stakeholders, cross functional teams.
  4. Demonstrated large scale business impact from delivered solutions.
  5. Interest and ability to learn new coding paradigms and languages.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $217,000 - $323,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
