Note: This is for one of our clients, not avua directly Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, providing direction and guidance throughout the lifecycle of renewable energy projects. Mentor and develop team members to enhance technical capabilities. Develop and review detailed mechanical designs for renewable energy systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Implement strategies for optimizing the efficiency and sustainability of mechanical systems. Assess and select appropriate mechanical technologies for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and energy storage systems. Integrate innovative and sustainable solutions into project designs. Specify mechanical equipment requirements for renewable energy projects. Collaborate with procurement teams to select and source reliable and efficient mechanical components. Establish and oversee quality control measures to ensure mechanical systems meet regulatory requirements and adhere to project standards. Stay current with industry codes and standards. Work closely with electrical, civil, and environmental engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into overall project designs. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is preferred. Proven experience in leading mechanical engineering teams, preferably in renewable energy projects. In-depth knowledge of mechanical design principles, renewable energy technologies, and sustainable engineering practices. Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
