Our client is a specialist asset management firm with over $10 billion AUM, specialized in income-oriented credit investments in niche and inefficient markets . As a rapidly growing firm of 120 employees in Greenwich, CT, they are seeking a full time Application Developer to build next-generation applications.


Key responsibilities:

  • Support the application development needs for trading, operations, risk management, finance and data analytics
  • Build applications that enhance our operations and advance the usage of our Snowflake Data Warehouse
  • Integrate 3rd party applications and data sources using modern middleware technologies
  • Partner with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to cybersecurity best practices
  • Stay up to date on trends, best practices, and emerging technologies across the data engineering space and integrate into the platform where applicable


Qualifications:

  • Strong system design skills with an emphasis on clean code
  • Proficient in programming languages such as .NET/Angular (Python experience a plus)
  • Experience developing applications to run on cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure)
  • Experience working with relational databases such as Snowflake and a good command of SQL
  • Experience working in a Buy Side Financial Firm
  • Self-motivated problem-solver with strong relationship and communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a complex environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
